After being discharged from military duty, Robert J. Belinger, Esq. began working for an employment agency earning $65.00 per week. One of the positions he needed to fill was for a Title Examiner paying $137.50 a week. Bob wasn't sure what a Title Examiner did, but decided to check it out since the employer preferred a candidate with some background in law and Bob had been attending law school when he was drafted. He was awarded the job in 1972, completed his law studies, passed the bar in 1975, and founded Cleveland Title Services Agency, LTD. in September 1977. Cleveland Title Services Agency, LTD. is a full-service title and escrow company and provides Title and Escrow services to the general public, as well as judicial reports for attorneys and Cuyahoga County. Our clientele include builder/developers, national accounts such as Panera Breads and Dunkin' Donuts, and municipalities like Parma, South Euclid, Hudson, and Richmond Heights, to name a few. We have closed multi-million dollar transactions such as the Kettering Tower in Dayton and the Ohio E-Test stations while providing the same quality service to our residential customers who remain the "Heart" of our business.

The strengths of our business include an experienced staff and two on-site attorneys who are available to answer questions and facilitate closings, often saving time and money for our clients. We have convenient locations in Chardon and Twinsburg, as well as Independence. In addition, we have an affiliate company, operated by my son Adam, in Columbus.

The main difference between us and many other title agencies is not what we do, but how we do it. We are licensed with six underwriters who each audit our operation twice a year, and we carry Errors and Omissions insurance. We are proud that we have not had an unresolved claim, and our integrity in the title community is unimpeachable.

I and my wife Nancy, who is a pre-natal nurse, in addition to raising our children here, have fostered ten babies as they were awaiting adoption.
