After working for Bethlehem Steel in their Cleveland sales office, Ron Gehring was searching for a career that would enable him to use his sales ability to help others. In January 1961, Ron opened his Brecksville insurance agency representing the State Farm Insurance Company. After graduating from Bowling Green State University, Ron's son, Scott, decided to continue in the State Farm tradition and became an agent in 1992.
